We have stopped here many times after crossing the border. The food was always very good. It is advisable to make a reservation if you come as a group, as the hut is well attended, especially on weekends. In summer you can also sit outside nicely.

https://outdoor-zentrum-lahntal.de Very nicely laid out center for nature enthusiasts. Rabbits, alpacas, various birds, turtles and much more can be marveled at and petted here. Several "hobbit houses" can be rented on request (see homepage) I always like to come back here.

There is a small bench behind the hut. From here you can look out over the lake and relax a little.
