This charming, scenic little town has a number of good road cycling routes, including the Green Valley Round/Chatham Loop. There are some interesting historic sites here too, including the Atwood Museum (first built as a home in roughly 1752), and the Mayo House, which is furnished with period furniture and sometimes open to the public.

This is a lovely tranquil next to Diamond Mill Pond and within the woods. At this spot you there is a parking lot which you will be able to see the lake from. There are a couple of boulders which would serve as a good rest spot!

One of a pair of lakes in Echo Lake Park, Lower Echo Lake is a popular year-round destination. Pedal boating and fishing bring in visitors during the warmer months, while ice skating becomes available as the temperature drops.

Upper Echo Lake is one half of a pair of lakes at Echo Lake Park. There is a road running through the park as well as a multi-use trail, so you have options depending on your riding style and goals for the day. You'll also find a concessions stand, restrooms, and picnic areas in the park.

This park is one of the 36 Union County parks and includes a Multi-use Path, Fitness Trail, Softball Field, Soccer Field, Restrooms, and Wi-Fi. It serves as a nice stopping point to sit and enjoy the water and fountains in the park.
