Great tower with a view of the Fremersberg

Nice place for a break with a lounger and seating. Restaurant toilets and children's playground are also available. Merkur Tower can also be climbed with an elevator. Ideal for families with young children. Please explore the remaining attractions yourself.

The Fremersberg is a worthwhile destination with a great view from the tower and a rustic guest hut.

On the summit plateau there is a guest house and the 85 m high Fremersberg tower, a transmission tower with a viewing platform. When the weather is nice, you have a wonderful view of the region.

The Fremersberg is 525.1 m above sea level. NHN [1] high mountain on the western edge of the northern Black Forest on the district of Baden-Baden and the municipality of Sinzheim (district of Rastatt). For me, a real insider tip in the region, as you can enjoy a great view from the Fremersbergturm, among other places. I also always find the forest area around the mountain and the path to the tower to be a pleasure. The paths are easy to walk and there are always beautiful views of the valley.

A fantastic view of the Rhine plain and also of the other Black Forest heights. Hornisgrinde, Badener Höhe and also the Hohlohturm and the Teufelsmühle are wonderful to see. When the weather is nice there are many paragliders. The Merkur, Baden-Baden's local mountain, is often well attended because the cable car also goes up.

The Hohlohturm, also known as the Kaiser Wilhelm Turm, towers over the Hohlohmoor. A beautiful boardwalk with many benches and views of the Hohlohsee leads through the moor. The Hohlohmoor is a retreat for the endangered capercaillie.
