Childs Hollow is a pond named after Charles Childs, a pioneer who once owned much of what is today Fontenelle Forest. There is a boardwalk that descends down to the pond. This is a great place to sport wildlife!

The trail around the lake is paved concrete and is flat. There is very little shade but the view of the lake and wildlife makes for a nice scenic hike.
