This was my third time here, and I came on a Sunday at the end of the season. The weather was perfect and it was very busy; as a retiree, I enjoyed the peace and quiet during the week. When the weather is right, the mountain views are breathtaking. "The sheep and goats in the meadow need nerves of steel when they're cuddled by children for hours on end."

The Alpe Müllers Berg can also be easily reached from Großdorf-Vorderburg in 20 minutes. Unfortunately it was already closed in mid-October, otherwise we would definitely have visited it more often. Information about the Alpe + opening times: https://www.alpe-muellers-berg.de/

It's always nice to stop off at Alpe Müllers Berg. There are various snacks, cakes and drinks. Concerts are often held in the summer.

Popular destination for families with small children (animals and playground). Magnificent view over Lake Niedersonthofen into the mountains. Good cakes and snacks.
