The so-called "Bachweg" (stream path) through the Hörschbach Gorge is currently (2021) closed! Please check the Murrhardt city website for the current situation. Highly frequented during holiday periods and when the weather is nice!

Pure nature in the Buchenbach Valley. Simply nice to go by the river for a long time.

This section is well developed and a dream for racing cyclists! But be careful, there is a lot going on here at the weekend when the weather is good. Although there is sometimes a separate pedestrian path, you may have to go slalom here. Therefore, I recommend that you tackle this route during the week or on the weekend, especially early in the morning or late in the evening.

An absolute highlight of the region. Unfortunately, most of the path along the stream has been washed away, which makes it very exhausting and adventurous

Absolutely spectacular hiking highlight. Sturdy shoes are an absolute must. Don't even think about walking through the gorge in sneakers. You often have to go through the water, over slippery stones and very narrow paths. But it's definitely worth it. Unfortunately a bit overcrowded on the weekends. Avoid parking spaces in Murrhardt, as you can only park there for up to 2 hours.

The rear waterfall consists of two waterfalls. At the rearmost waterfall, you can regulate the amount of water yourself with the help of a dam via the dam above. It's not just fun for young children.
