The imposing building at the entrance to the Stöcken municipal cemetery is the cemetery chapel. It was built in the neo-Gothic style from red brick and inaugurated on January 1, 1892. The octagonal building with two corner towers and a lawn in front forms the impressive main entrance to the cemetery. The chapel was designed by city building inspector Paul Rowald under the guidance of city building officer Georg Bokelberg.
