From here, you can also easily take a short detour to the Frommerkogel. The summit cross is very beautiful!

This is a massive glass cross and worth a visit. There's no official path there, but from the western side, the climb is easily doable over grass and gravel sections.

Fantastic panorama, about 20 minutes above the Gsengalm, hiking or at least trekking shoes recommended

One of the most beautiful mountains with a view in the Salzburg region. Accessible via beautiful forest paths and ski slopes. A shorter version via a path is also possible. Paragliders often use it for "hike & fly". There are very good take-off points on the mountain and the large landing area is not far from the lift in Zaglau. Cable car riders only have a few meters to the summit or the restaurant. There is also some play equipment for children in the summit area.

For the summit climb to the unique Glaskreuz, it is recommended that you first walk along below the Schartwand and then start the climb from the west side. The path initially leads you towards Bleikogel, with the turnoff to the Schartwand clearly signposted. From this point, you follow a mostly pathless path that is marked by cairns. After about 15 minutes of hiking, the view of the summit opens up.
