There are now three platforms, distributed along the section between Scholastika and Gaisalm, and vice versa.

A great platform with a wooden bench and a great view, unfortunately very crowded.

The Zwölferkopf is 1491 m high. Here you will find the Karwendelhaus with a good kitchen and a lovely terrace. From here you have a great panoramic view over parts of Pertisau and the entire length of Lake Achensee.

Here you can take a break and enjoy the view of Lake Achensee.

The wonderful view of the crystal-clear Achensee between the peaks of the Karwendel Mountains and the Brandenberg Alps is just one of many reasons to explore the mountains around the "Tyrolean Sea". Whether it's a summit hike, a long-distance hiking trail or a leisurely hut tour - there are many ways to enjoy the unique Alpine landscape around the Achensee. For example, an adventurous family hike through the Gaismoosstollen was an insider tip and highlight for us. If you would rather really work out and have enough hiking experience and stamina, you can set off on a stage of the Adlerweg.

These newly constructed viewing platforms are a really good idea. You can stop off here and there without getting in anyone's way 😄

A truly fantastic view of the Sylvenstein reservoir. One of those places you should visit at least once, the great impressions stay in your memory. Beautiful region, great location, wonderful!

It's simply beautiful here, and the forest paths around Lake Sylvenstein are particularly recommended by bike, provided you have the appropriate tires.
