The Tegelberghaus is located at an altitude of 1,707 meters directly on the Tegelbergbahn. The hut is a great starting point for hikes all year round. On the large sun terrace or in the parlor you can fortify yourself with delicious food and refreshing drinks. The view from the hut of the lakes and the Säuling is unforgettable. If you want to stay longer, you also have the option of staying overnight in the hut.

We had a fantastic meal here after a strenuous climb and challenging descent. The food is a bit more expensive (Kaiserschmarn at just under 15 euros), but the portions are adequate and super tasty.

The Kenzenhütte is really highly recommended. During our visit, warm apple strudel and cake were prepared...

A really nice mountain hut with delicious food and lots of space on the sunny terrace 👍, it's bearable there!!!

For me worthwhile in winter via the winter trail. The hut itself is not really comfortable because it is often very busy. Toboggan run down north side. I prefer the ascent from Kappel or, as I said, the winter trail.
