サイクリングロードは川沿いに美しく蛇行しています。正しい方向に向かっていると、素晴らしい山のパノラマが目に飛び込んできます。

道はロイズァハ川に沿ってのどかに蛇行しています。基本的に非常にきれいに整備されていますが、時には混みすぎます。

Simply always impressive

Lake Plansee is a scenic lake that's perfect for a bike ride. A leisurely tour around the lake leads mostly along paved paths through forests and meadows, with magnificent views of the Ammergau and Lechtal Alps. Along the shore, there are natural bays for swimming and inns for refreshments. For more energetic cyclists, the tour can easily be extended to the neighboring Heiterwanger Lake, allowing for additional viewpoints and sights to be explored in the surrounding area.

It's great for road bikes, but everyone should be aware that you won't be able to set any speed records here: expect a lot of bike traffic on holidays and during the season (when the weather is good). But it's clear: You have to ride here at least once!

Dreamlike landscape beautiful lake

The Schmalensee (officially "Schmalsee") is located above the road between Mittenwald and Klais, nestled in the picturesque rolling meadows at an elevation of approximately 938 meters. It covers approximately 7 hectares, is only 2.5 meters deep, and is surrounded by reeds, meadows, and trees. The lake is privately owned and used as a fishing water – therefore, swimming is officially prohibited, even though the water quality is occasionally present.

The entire route between Gries and Bichlbach is asphalted.
