標高2,232mにあるPadasterjochhausは、オーストリアで最も古いNaturfreundehaus（自然愛好家の家）です。1907年にNaturfreundeのウィーン支部によって建てられたPadasterjochhaus（Naturfreundehausとも呼ばれます）は、100年以上も建っています。（出典：https://www.padasterjochhaus.at） Heute (27.9.26) war allerdings nicht nur Saisonende, sondern auch das Ende einer Ära. Wir haben vor Ort erfahren, das die Betreiber nach 50 Jahren im Alter von inzwischen 75 Jahren den Betrieb komplett einstellen. Wie und ob es jemand weiter führt, ist noch unklar。

On Thursdays in summer, the last descent of the Patscherkofelbahn is not until 10 p.m.! Hence the tip for the combination ticket: park there, take the bus over and then walk back to the Patscherkofel at a leisurely pace. Finally, take a rest at the top until you go back down into the valley to the car. - If you go the other way, check the bus times for the Tulfenexpress 😉

It's like a village of houses and huts thrown together by a giant at random... And that's exactly what makes it so charming. If you want to stay overnight here, the hut operators will almost always find a spot for you - even if you call. If you get there in time, you can also enjoy it as a romantic couple. The food is top-notch and always beautifully presented. And the operators are friendly.
