The Seilersee in Iserlohn, also known as the Callerbachtalsperre, is a process water dam with an area of 13 hectares and a storage space of 350,000 m³. It was built in 1913–1914 and is a popular local recreation area. A 1.6 km long hiking trail leads around the lake, and there are various leisure options such as an ice rink, a sports and brine pool, tennis courts and a mini golf course.

Worth a detour, especially when the weather is nice, as the strong blue of the "Blue Lagoon" comes out very nicely here. Some of the paths there also offer very nice views 😊

If you don't just love asphalt and if you also like to drive on non-asphalted paths, you can only suggest going around the reservoir (approx. 10km). Again and again there are beautiful views of the lake.
