The Verbeke Foundation: what is it actually? The Verbeke Foundation is the brainchild of art collectors Geert Verbeke and Carla Verbeke-Lens. This private art site houses a magnificent collection of modern and contemporary works of art that are spread out in the landscape. As if a splinter bomb of creativity has exploded here and the shards have emerged as masterfully idiosyncratic art. In short: you get lost in 12 hectares of nature reserve and discover a total of 20,000 square meters of covered pavilions. This sanctuary is an inimitable place, where not only the works of established artists are shown to their best advantage. A promising generation of young wolves is also given every opportunity here. Welcome to one of the largest private initiatives for contemporary art in Europe.
