As your thighs work, breathtaking views of the valleys and surrounding mountain ridges repeatedly open up. Some of the paths are overgrown with prickly broom - even the official path, especially the last stretch up to the summit. The path downloaded from the Kompass hiking guide was partly not (or no longer) findable. It is also not worth parking near the ER110, as described there. There are enough parking spaces further back at the forester's house.
