Village Street Dock is open to the public on the shores of Salem Harbor. This small dock is open to boaters and paddlers, with a boat ramp and nearby picnic tables.

​Castle Rock Park spans 1.2 acres of coastal landscape and is named after a nearby castle-like private home. From the granite ledges, there are great Atlantic views. This park is a popular spot for photography, storm watching, and observing sailing races. Take the steps on the left side of the rock down to the tide pools.

Nice surroundings, with grassy areas, ponds and a fountain, can work for a break while riding Endicott Drive.

This is a good place to stop along the Border to Boston Trail. You can have a rest in the shade and top up your water.

Nice gravel route and easy to ride

Middleton Rail Trail is a well-maintained and easy-to-follow trail, but here a covered sign with a map was installed with a bench to relax. This could be a great opportunity to take a break, sit down, have a snack, and enjoy this green area.

It is nice to be surprised now and again, and this unnamed pond on East Street is just a nice surprise. It is such a pretty location. The section of road here is very easy on the eye too, and it's a good blast on the bike.
