Pearce Lake Beach is a sandy swimming beach with roped-off swim zones. The Department of Conservation and Recreation tests the water weekly, and a lifeguard is on duty in the summer to keep watch.

​Castle Rock Park spans 1.2 acres of coastal landscape and is named after a nearby castle-like private home. From the granite ledges, there are great Atlantic views. This park is a popular spot for photography, storm watching, and observing sailing races. Take the steps on the left side of the rock down to the tide pools.

Nice surroundings, with grassy areas, ponds and a fountain, can work for a break while riding Endicott Drive.

A small community beach, named after the woman who during the 19th century lived in a house on nearby Doliber Point. The sea is shallow and sheltered, so it's a good place to swim.

This is a popular swim spot for residents of Boxford. Guests are also allowed to dip in the pond, but for a small fee. Keep an eye out for fish and frogs who might be swimming with you.

Fort Pickering Light is also known as Winter Island Light. It's a lighthouse that was built in 1871 and worked until 1969 when the coastguard deemed it unnecessary. The locals re-lit it and funded it from 1983.

A great crescent shaped beach to the west of Magnolia. Nice sand and lovely views of Kettle Island.
