The best place to start crossing the Highline is at the Ehrenberg ruins. From here you can first have a look at the suspension bridge. If you don't have a ticket yet, you can buy one from the machine. Please note, cash only, for now. This is due to be changed.

Ehrenberg Castle is well maintained. There are several treasure hunts for children and a large playground after the first gate. The Highline 179 is of course right next to it.

We also drove up the pass with luggage. The path was quite difficult to navigate due to the loose gravel. Especially since most of the people were coming towards us, it was very narrow. Definitely not for beginners.
