Wonderfully developed bike path around the lake with a few restaurants along the way...🍜🍺☺️. A bit narrow, but if you don't race that way like a 🐗 then it's fine...

The ferry crossing offers a wonderful view of the Havel and the surrounding landscape. If you're on a bike, you can cycle the beautiful route from Potsdam along the Havel to Caputh. Once there, it's worth taking a break and exploring the surrounding area. Caputh is known for its picturesque landscape, castle and historic buildings. During the ferry crossing you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the region and admire the beauty of nature. Especially in spring and summer, the ferry is a popular meeting place for cyclists and walkers - it can get really crowded because this is the point at which you get to the other side. If it is too crowded you can go to a bridge a little further down. Anyone interested in architecture and history should definitely visit Caputh Castle. The St. Laurentius Church is also worth a visit, with its Gothic elements and the wonderful view of the Havel - and of course there is also the Einstein House.

Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Havel, the surrounding forests and the historic buildings. Here you can breathe the fresh air, observe nature and unwind. Werder itself is full of history and culture. There are a variety of historical buildings to visit, including Werder Castle and the Stadtkirche. The city also offers numerous opportunities for hiking, biking and boating, making it a great destination for a bike trip.

The Uferweg am Schwielowsee is a wonderful place for cyclists. With a length of about 20 kilometers, the trail offers beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding countryside. The route is flat and well maintained, making it a perfect choice for a leisurely bike ride. Absolutely beautiful tour around Lake Senftenberg, easy level of difficulty and mostly shady. Gastronomy along the way is also sufficient and good. At the "leaning tower" it's worth climbing up to 32m and a goulash cannon awaits you with a view over the lake below. There are plenty of parking spaces with toilets all around.

Schwielowsee is part of a chain of large lakes in the middle Havel river, stretching from Nieder Neuendorfer See in Berlin to Großer Zernsee behind Werder (Havel). It has an area of about 786 hectares. Its length is about 5.4 kilometers and its maximum width is about 2.0 kilometers.
