When circumnavigating Lake Lünersee, you can stop for a break at the Lünersee Alpe. The Lünersee Alpe sells regional products and offers a small snack menu. Cash payments only. A walk around the lake is definitely worth it; the view from this side is simply amazing.

The Lünersee was once a natural mountain lake. The construction of a dam in 1959 transformed it into a reservoir with a capacity of 78.3 million m3. When full, the lake is 139 m deep. The circular trail around the lake is largely family-friendly and easy to walk.

There is a marked winter hiking trail around the lake. However, it is only partially groomed and therefore very suitable for snowshoes.

Historic and beautiful! "A day at the Mili, the charming outdoor pool on wooden stilts, is wonderfully nostalgic. The oldest bathing establishment on Lake Constance was built in 1825 and was originally used to train recruits. Today, things are much more relaxed: parents and children cool off in the lake or bask on the sun terrace, which is shielded from the shore. SUP is also available here, as well as a diving board, a table tennis table and a slackline over Lake Constance."

A beautiful area for snowshoe hikes. I would only venture outside of the marked winter hiking trails with an experienced guide.
