Simply a fantastic hike! Since I'm not afraid of heights, I was skeptical, but I had no problems! Two sections after the Fellhorn summit were secured with ropes, but they weren't dangerous. In dry conditions and with good footwear, I highly recommend it!

A well-maintained ridge hiking trail with stunning views of the Kleinwalsertal and Illertal valleys. The trail is also suitable for children and large dogs. Sturdy footwear is recommended, especially in wet weather.

It's worth it! But not for the faint-hearted, some parts are really dangerous. I don't quite understand the information from Komoot: "moderately difficult" and no markings for really dangerous sections! Not recommended without the right footwear and you shouldn't be afraid of heights either.

A superb ridge hike starting from the Söllereck towards the Fellhorn. Beautiful views on both sides. The ridge path is very narrow in places, with a few short climbing sections. Not recommended in or after rain due to the risk of slipping.

Here's the link to Fellhorn; you should actually be there yourself before leaving a comment. I also comment on hikes I've done with my little rascal daughter, or on hikes I plan to do with her and have already done at least once myself. Mountains aren't a playground, and skipping the summit; turning back early isn't cowardice. You should always assess your abilities carefully, even more so when you have children with you!

The Pfände towers high above Bregenz. Reachable by the Pfändebahn or on foot, it offers a brilliant view of the wide Lake Constance. At the top station of the cable car there is a wildlife park and several inns.

A ridge for everyone as it is developed like a motorway without any dangerous spots. Of course it is still a high mountain path, flip flops etc. have no place here!

The Hahnenköpfle is located in the Schwarzwassertal between Hoher Ifen and Gottesackerplateau. The route partly leads over stony, steep paths along the Ifenmulde to the panoramic summit.

In the immediate vicinity of the Honen Ifen, a beautiful, easily accessible summit with a great view of the Alps, over the Gottesacker plateau and Lake Constance. Almost easier to hike in winter than in summer. 😉
