The Wellberg has an elevation of 62 m. It is said to be the highest point in the city of Lingen (Ems). One can only imagine a rest area. There have been plans for a viewing tower here for years, but the city has put the project on hold indefinitely. The viewer can clearly see that either the tower has to be of an impressive height in order to be able to see into the distance or that the very tall trees have to be felled specifically.
