The narrow path is steeper than the main path through the gorge, but also so much more beautiful.

The Anaconda Trail is located on the Langert near the city of Aalen. One of the oldest trails, with a total of three segments, leads through curves, root passages, and undulations almost back to the city. For current information: https://ssvaalen.de/trailmapaalen/

The VWZ Trail is located directly at the "An der Steige" parking lot between Aalen and Brastelburg. The upper section is more technical, with many root sections, curves, and a wave that can be jumped. After a short uphill climb, the trail then moves onto the faster section. The Lochen Pass is located in the Zollernalb district of Baden-Württemberg and represents the shortest connection from the Balingen area to Lake Constance. Historically, its importance lies in the connection of the Heuberg region to the Alb foothills.

Easy trail to practice on, which you can ride several times as the climb runs almost parallel.

Very nice hiking trail into the Trailfinger Gorge (and of course vice versa). Easy to walk on with sturdy shoes, even when it is damp. Popular trail descent also among MTB enthusiasts, who usually avoid the trail during peak hiking times (at least their sensible colleagues 😊).

The Trailfinger Schlucht Trail can also be ridden in wet/humid conditions, snow and ice, as long as you have your bike under control and have basic knowledge of trail biking/spinning. You can get around corners without moving the rear wheel. Certainly not suitable for beginners and anyone who is still a bit unstable on the bike. For everyone else it is a great but unfortunately very short descent into the Trailfinger Gorge. Here too, you need to be careful, as it is a popular path for hikers. Be prepared to brake and drive with foresight. In some places it is narrower, so it is not really possible to avoid it safely.

Very nice trail with a very flowing course. At the bottom, as StefanM already mentioned, it gets a little bumpier. Definitely a worthwhile trail in this area
