The church was built here on St. Dorothy's Hill in the 17th century. Father Wojciech Lipnicki built the church with funds from his relative, Dorota Kącka, abbess of the Norbertine Sisters' convent in Zwierzyniec, Kraków. It's a beautiful church, and the views from the top are breathtaking.

The new, 15-meter-high observation tower on Mount Siewierska is a great place to stop during your MTB route – after a few minutes of climbing the stairs, it offers a panoramic view of Zagłębie, Silesia, the Beskids, and in good weather even the Tatra Mountains, and it's worth using the free telescope.
