A wonderful place on the outskirts of Athens. A good starting or finishing point for a circular hike on the paths around the monastery and towards the peaks. Parking is limited, however. Another alternative is the car park further up the road at the fire brigade observation tower.

Here, between the shady pines, you can glide through nature on well-maintained paths. The air is fresh and the rays of sun that make their way through the treetops bathe everything in a warm light. For anyone who wants to escape the noise of the city, this place offers a relaxing break. There is hardly any traffic here and the peace of the trees is only occasionally interrupted by the chirping of birds. What makes this place special is the mix of gentle climbs and pleasant descents, which guarantee a relaxed ride for every biker - whether beginner or advanced. Even on hot days it stays pleasantly cool here, which makes the route ideal for a quick ride in between.
