Hotel/Restaurant Stejarul (The Oak in Romanian), with the looks that stand shoulder to shoulder with any charming establishment from a Bavarian village, is wedged at the end of a paved road, and a beginning of both forest roads up north and a gravel one that continues further east. The inscription on the right side of the façade tells the story of the count who, in 1909, started the forest, which starts behind the hotel. It is a good place to rest before getting back to the city...or continuing to the East.
