第二次世界大戦中、カナダ軍が公園に駐屯し、この像を無許可の射撃練習に使用しました。（ウルフはフランス系カナダ人の願望を鎮圧に関わったイギリスの英雄でした）修復された弾痕は、像と台座の後ろではっきりと見ることができます。

Woolwich Royal Arsenal Pier, along the Thames Path. Famous for the circle of Peter Burke sculptures and cannons of various sizes.

Excellent cycle route in the city, easy to navigate and away from traffic, its the other cyclists that you need to watch out for!

Cycling is only permitted in the main roads through the park; all narrow paths it is not allowed. Police regularly stop cyclists.

Created in Assembly is an artwork by sculptor Peter Burke, commissioned in 2005. Sixteen cast iron figures are arranged, facing in towards a central point. The body moulds are only partially complete, designed to enable to observer to view from the outside in.

Beautiful Greenwich Park is home to the Royal Observatory and boasts magnificent views across to Canary Wharf and beyond towards the City, particularly from the statue of General James Wolfe and from One Tree Hill. Cyclists are not permitted on many of the park's paths. However, you can cycle on the Avenue, Blackheath Avenue and Great Cross Avenue.
