ダラウ城は、モースバッハのダラウ地区にある特徴的な歴史的建造物であり、エルツタールを通るハイキングやサイクリングルートの人気の立ち寄りスポットです。この城は16世紀に建てられ、ルネサンス様式で建設されました。現在、城はその場所の中心的な文化施設として機能しており、手入れの行き届いた中庭、特徴的な階段塔、そして静かで公園のような環境が印象的です。

An imposing building. It is a former moated castle, a three-story structure with mighty stepped gables and a round corner tower. Historically, the "Veste Talheim" was first mentioned in 1336. The Lords of Heinriet were said to be its owners. In 1356, the castle was destroyed by the Archbishop of Mainz. It wasn't until 1371 that a rectangular building was erected on parts of the demolished tower castle and incorporated into the still existing ring wall.

The viaduct is an impressive structure. It is part of the S-Bahn and crosses the Elz River.

A very beautiful sandstone bridge. The railway viaduct crosses the Elztal.

Here, a very delicate front door made of oak has been faithfully recreated. Can be admired directly on the Schefflenztal cycle and hiking path. The original dates from 1788 and is located in the attic of the Schüßler farmhouse in Gottersdorf.
