My personal highlight of today's tour through new areas! The renaturalized Sulzbach stream in the tranquil park (despite being in the heart of Frankfurt and adjacent to the A66 motorway) is truly inviting and perfect for relaxing and taking a breather. It's always amazing what hidden gems Frankfurt has to offer!

From this position you have a great view of the skyline; it somehow compels you to stop and marvel.

Especially during the summer months, there's a lot going on in this beautiful park.

Historic Nidda Bridge, first documented in 1275. In 1817, the bridge toll was abolished (after 475 years of collection). In 1824, during the Nassau period, a solid sandstone structure with stone railings and six flood arches was built to replace the old wooden bridge. Iron railings were added in 1906. The roadway and sidewalk were widened in 1965.

Especially during the summer months, and particularly on weekends, the paths along the Nidda river are very busy.

The Nied railway bridge in Frankfurt am Main is the second oldest railway bridge still in operation in Germany.[1] The arched bridge was built in 1838 and went into operation in 1839. The Taunus Railway crosses the Nidda River on it. The bridge is located between Frankfurt Central Station and Frankfurt-Höchst Station in the Nied district.

The Bolongaropalast is a large Baroque palace in Frankfurt-Höchst, built between 1772 and 1780. It is located on the south side of Bolongarostraße, and the south-facing garden is on the high bank above the confluence of the Nidda and Main rivers. This is the south side and is used as a registry office.
