The Lenne Leisure Trail runs along the former railroad track and the old railway line for almost 15 km from Buchhagen, past Kirchbrak and Eschershausen to Vorwohle. As one of the first LEADER projects, the trail was created in 2006 for pedestrians, cyclists, and hikers and features various rest areas for enjoying the beautiful landscape. The trail is a great running terrain. Viewing and photo spot between the two towers (Ebersnacken and Bodoturm) on the ridge path. The elongated Ith River can be admired almost in its entirety.

The Kirchbrak hiking car park is located in front of the church, making it an ideal starting/ending point for the Ebersnacken Loop trail along the main ridge of the Vogler. It is also a stop on the Loccum/Volkenroda pilgrimage route (the end point of the 7th stage of the route is in Kirchbrak). The Lenne Leisure Trail is very well-maintained. The paths through the forest have been beautifully renovated, and there are several seating areas along the trail with stunning views of the river and the rock faces. The old train and the partially still-visible tracks are further highlights.
