The transmitter in the Donnerberg district of Stolberg replaced an earlier antenna system in 1951. Donnerberg itself is 285 meters above sea level and approximately 1 kilometer from the center of Stolberg. The medium-wave transmitter (frequency) was discontinued on December 31, 1993. Height of antenna tower: 231 meters Construction type: Steel lattice mast Transmission types: Analog radio (FM), digital radio (DAB+), digital television (DVB-T2 HD), digital television (DVB-T), analog television.

Currently, there's even a portable toilet a few meters down Pützdorfer Straße from the small Indemann, which (at least when I was there) was clean and didn't smell, had toilet paper, and running water in the sink. A great addition to a break at the small Indemann!
