Driving through the beautiful birch avenue along the "Altendiestedder Weg," your gaze sweeps to the left over the fields to the Diestedder Berg, from which the Liese, Maybach, and Boxelbach streams all flow. The hill also forms the watershed between the Ems and Lippe rivers. At only 50 meters, it rises above the surrounding terrain, yet at 139.03 meters above sea level, it is the highest mountain in the municipality of Wadersloh.
