PfalzGraveller's description is absolutely spot on! Rode yesterday. A truly beautiful section in the wonderful Palatinate region, on a lovely, quiet county road and superb road bike asphalt.

The church tower of St. Nicholas Church is 70 meters high and visible from afar. The church dominates the townscape of Bellheim. The foundation stone was laid on September 3, 1868.

The cafe at the old brickworks is a hub and stopover on any tour of the Palatinate. Food and drink are excellent. The service is friendly and attentive. There are approximately 30 seats inside, and over 100 outside in the beer garden. The view of the Rhine is breathtaking. The Zeigelei (a small village) behind the building is open to the public.

There couldn't be a better location for a café stop - right on the Rhine!

Beautiful forest section. The cycle path is easy to ride on a racing bike. In autumn there are a lot of leaves on the cycle path.
