Riding through the forest 🌳 on a road bike is definitely not recommended. Gravel biking, cycling, running, and hiking are great options. 👍🏻

From the coast of the Flensburg Fjord, you can see the small and large Ox Island, two Danish islands located in the fjord off Sønderhav. Today, you're only allowed to visit the large Ox Island, but it's definitely worth a visit! You can walk around the entire island along a path and the beach.

The Schusterkate border crossing is one of the smallest border crossings in Europe and connects Wassersleben north of Flensburg and Krusau and thus Germany and Denmark. This border crossing leads over the small border river Krusau with a small wooden bridge, on the middle of which the border runs.
