The best view of the Rennsteig ski jump is from the road or from the viewing point directly below. It is definitely worth making the climb from the valley of the Haselbach.

Historically interesting complex, which is worth a detour even on a racing bike. The spa park behind it also has its charms. History: Only ruins of the actual monastery complex remain; the foundations of the monastery were uncovered between 1840 and 1906. The town hall itself is worth seeing, but the market square is not exactly inviting for long lingering. It is mainly used as a car park, the fountain is no longer in use and unfortunately there are no cosy restaurants. Information boards about the town's history and the town hall are also nowhere to be found.
