This is a very pleasant area of South London, located by the river Thames.

Nice quiet cafe near the water, with an outside terrace and plenty of space for bikes. Good coffee and food too.

Popular lock and marina close to Hampton Court, with great views of Hampton Court Palace on the opposite bank through the arches of Hampton Court Bridge, designed by Edwin Lutyens.

Hampton Court Bridge has three wide arches spanning the River Thames. Opened in 1933, it's now a Grade II listed structure for its architecture.

The Diana fountain is the iconic image of Bushy Park. Installed here in 1713, the statue does not include the hunting dogs and bow that normally accompany a statue of the Roman goddess. The suggestion being, this isn't Diana at all, but the Greek water nymph Arethusa.
