Easy-to-use asphalted footpath/cycle path next to the road.

As of August 2025, the track has been completely resurfaced with new asphalt. I don't know why, because the surface was already in top condition.

Repairing the paved section of the path up to the Kersdorf Lock with a bike path would be highly desirable. Otherwise, the bike path near the Spree River is great, although not yet completely repaired.

As of May 2025, the road is under construction (accessible with gravel bikes). The asphalt section, which is actually not bad at all, is being resurfaced. In my opinion, more urgent work would be the renovation of the paved section or the path between Kersdorfer Schleuse and Berkenbrück, which has some really nasty roots. The prioritization is mysterious.

Brandenburg's only hand-operated cable ferry. With a nice pub where you can stop and linger. It connects a wonderful route from Oelsen to Friedland and Leißnitz.
