An old scoop wheel. The design is as simple as it is ingenious. The wheel, equipped with vessels, is set in rotation by the pressure of the flowing water. The vessels fill at the lowest point and then empty into a channel in the upper third, which carries the water further. These wheels were once used for irrigation. Today, unfortunately, they are mostly used as display items.

From here you can see the Moritzberg wonderfully and you are already very close to it

Ismail Yasar was the sixth murder victim of the NSU, one of three in Nuremberg alone. He was shot dead on June 9, 2025, in his food truck, approximately 100 meters from the square. In June 2022, the city of Nuremberg named the small square in front of St. Kunigund's Church after him. In the winter of 2024/spring of 2025, the square was redesigned, with benches, tables, and loungers added. Thus, it now serves as both a place of remembrance and recreation.

It's all wonderful terrain, undulating with some physical challenges (Moritzberg / Entenberg) and great views of Hersbrucker Schweiz.
