Beautiful route. The highlight for me was the waterfalls.

Beautiful large lake situated between the mountains. You have a unique view all around. There are enough places to eat and drink and you can park nearby. If you want - outside the winter season - there are also pedal boats and other water sports activities to book.

Applies to the gravel path or promenade path between the railway line and the lakeshore: The path is signposted as a special path for pedestrians: "Sign 239 shows that there is a special path for pedestrians here. Other road users, with the exception of children up to 10 years of age riding bicycles, are prohibited from using the pedestrian path." So 🚲 push!

The Great Alpsee is a natural lake of almost 250 hectares in the northern Allgäu Alps with a circumference of 8.1 km west of Immenstadt im Allgäu in the Oberallgäu district in Bavaria. The main inflow and outflow is the Konstanzer Ach, which shortly after flows through the 7.5 hectare Kleiner Alpsee.
