From the hiking trail you have a great view of the Great Zechliner Lake. At this point you will find a simple bench that is perfect for a short break.

The local lake of Flecken Zechlin - the Black Lake - only has one entrance from the Great Zechlin Lake, both of which are connected by a canal. On the banks of the Black Lake there is, among other things, the "Elsenhöhe" guesthouse with very nice, spacious holiday apartments and rooms, the bridge over the canal, the fish restaurant that has even made it onto TV, the Maranke boat rental and a DGB educational center and not to forget - lots of nature. Simply adorable.

Fantastic view of the fishing hut on the Black Lake - this view is the reason why I have been spending at least a week a year here for almost 20 years.
