The Huschke memorial is somewhat hidden along a federal highway. At the corner of Clara-Zetkin-Straße and Granseer Straße, directly behind the Havel Bridge. Right next to junction 62. 🤔 Can't be found on Google Maps. 🤷🏼‍♂️ A memorial that you should definitely visit during a bike tour. 🚵‍♂️

There's no longer a ferry here, so it's all the more pleasant to sit in the beer garden right by the water.

Plans for the church building in Sachsenhausen date back to 1903. The journey to St. Nicholas Church in Oranienburg was too far, and the congregation had grown. By 1911, the town had 2,000 residents. The church was consecrated on the fourth Sunday of Advent in 1914. Since then, the church clock, which has to be wound twice a week, has been intact. In 1964, the church received a newly built organ from the Sauer company in Frankfurt/Oder.
