Now in spring, many toads are on the move looking for a partner right next to and in front of or behind the wooden walkway

This is a nature reserve, swimming is only allowed at the official bathing area! I ask all visitors to respect this.

The local lake of Flecken Zechlin - the Black Lake - only has one entrance from the Great Zechlin Lake, both of which are connected by a canal. On the banks of the Black Lake there is, among other things, the "Elsenhöhe" guesthouse with very nice, spacious holiday apartments and rooms, the bridge over the canal, the fish restaurant that has even made it onto TV, the Maranke boat rental and a DGB educational center and not to forget - lots of nature. Simply adorable.

Very nice path by the lake that offers beautiful views over the lake landscape. Pure nature. Recommended, a real experience in the protected area.

Unfortunately, the Regolin at the lake no longer exists. I heard the woman passed away in February. The restaurant is now called Stübchen am See.

The path winds through the moorland near the Kleiner Wummsee in an absolutely idyllic way. Rustic wooden walkways keep your feet dry and exude a jungle-like flair.

Very nice hiking trail! But it's a protected area. Therefore, the many references to many bathing spots at the lake are simply wrong. There is a bathing area at the Wummsee otherwise you have to respect nature and leave the shore alone!
