A fantastic section of the "Rhineland Apple Route," great for cycling any time of year. It's especially beautiful when the fruit trees are in bloom.

Very easy to drive on a dirt road.

"The Rheinbach station was built together with all the stations on the Bonn - Euskirchen line (except Witterschlick) during the construction of the line in the years 1878 to 1880. This building was also designed by the architect Johannes `Jodocus´ Richter (born April 1, 1842 - died December 31, 1889). However, it was based on his own plan - although it is very similar to the buildings in Odendorf and Kuchenheim. This reception building - the mirror image of which was built in Meckenheim - is a little larger than the buildings mentioned above and therefore has a slightly different layout of the rooms.
