The Krebssee lake in Lehmrade is completely hidden. From the parking lot, it's another 1.5 kilometers through fields and mixed forest. But then you'll find a paradisiacal sandy bathing spot on the eastern shore – giving the term "forest bathing" a whole new meaning! The high lime content gives the water a turquoise color, and crayfish can still be found here today (hence the name). The Schaalsee is nestled within the biosphere reserve of the same name and, at over 70 meters deep, is considered Northern Germany's deepest clearwater lake. Those who wish to swim here should only do so at designated areas—for example, in Dargow, Lassahn, Seedorf, or at the Zarrentin lido. The water quality is excellent, perfect for a refreshing dip on the go. The protected natural environment surrounding the lake is rich in species and tranquil—ideal for those who appreciate peace, clean air, and clear water. The beer and coffee garden is a pleasant place to relax.

Gut Seedorf is idyllically located near Lake Schaalsee and offers ideal conditions for equestrian sports. The stable offers both paddock stalls and indoor stalls with windows. Numerous pastures and sand paddocks are available for daily exercise. Riding lessons can be held in the indoor riding arena or on the large riding arena. The small, private stable community offers a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere for both competitive and recreational riders.
