Himos is a popular resort area located near Jämsä, Finland, known primarily for its ski slopes and outdoor activities. Surprisingly clean water despite the small size and plants growing on the opposite side - this proved to be a great place to freshen up after a day of hill climbing.

The Finnish sauna village Jämsan is located directly on Lake Päijänne. 24 historic smoke saunas await you there - the oldest from the 18th century. Cycling around Jämsä can be fun, unfortunately there are only gravel roads away from the tarred roads, which greatly restricts driving a racing bike. There are slight inclines on the paths, which is a bit of a challenge for cycling, the beautiful there are very few cyclists on the way.
