A beautiful stretch of road that goes over the Beaver Dam lake area of this stunning wooded part of the state. This tranquil setting is just bliss and the road is superb.

Located on the Roanoke River, this area is made up of rolling fields that are home to diverse wildlife. You may spot bald eagles in the skies. They're known to overwinter here. During the colder months, huge numbers of ducks and geese gather in the wetlands along the river, whilst in summer, beavers are busy building their dams.
