Turtle Pond is located near the Alum Creek Trail. With a short detour, you can visit the pond and take a quick stop to enjoy the scenery.

A. W. Marion State Park is a 310-acre public park that plays host to the 145-acre Hargus Lake. There are a number of hiking trails, campgrounds, and recreational facilities throughout the park. There are also a few different trailheads, so you can start your hike from a few different spots.

This small area within Walnut Woods Metro Park is filled with towering pines and sweetgum trees along a semi-paved path. Pets are allowed on this trail.

Cemetery Ridge Barn, also known as the Williams Family Barn, is the remainder of the 240-acre Williams Family farm that existed here in the 1800s.

Clear Creek runs through Clear Creek Metro Park and Clear Creek Nature Preserve. The creek gets its name from its especially clear water.

Blacklick Woods Metro Park is a 652-acre park with woods, fields, prairies, and ponds. It is home to one of the state's best remaining beech-maple forests. Visitors can take advantage first-come-first-served picnic shelters within the park or play a round of golf on the course within the park.
