This trail follows along its namesake creek through wetlands and woodlands, along boardwalk, and under highways. It serves as a way to connect the communities it travels through, and offers a great alternative to car travel.

Designed by sculptor Jeff Barber, this bronze statue was placed along Minnehaha Parkway in 2002. Since then it has been embraced by local residents and is often decorated for holidays and events.

Bryant Lake Regional Park is located on the eastern side of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and is a scenic outdoor destination offering a variety of recreational activities, including hiking, swimming and boating. The park spans 170 acres and features Bryant Lake, a popular spot for swimming, paddleboarding, and fishing. There is a sandy swimming beach, picnic areas, a large playground, and walking trails.

This trail loops you around Purgatory Park on a mix of paved and dirt paths, offering views of the creek. Along this section, you'll pass one of the many benches in the area where you can take a break and truly appreciate the beauty.

Here, you'll come across a beautiful bridge that stretches over Nine Mile Creek, leading to Lake Normandale. It's a stunning sight, particularly amidst the lush surroundings, especially in the summer.

Dayton River Road is lightly trafficked route ideal for road cycling. It runs parallel to the river, offering a steady ride with mild elevation changes. Key access points to nearby trails and parks are available along the route.

The Mississippi River begins in Minnesota at Lake Itasca and flows 2,348 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. This particular spot offers close-up views of the usually calm water, providing a peaceful place to take a break.

This is a great park featuring plenty of options for outdoor activities. The paved Shingle Creek Regional Trail runs through the grounds, which leads to the Palmer Lake Nature Area, the largest natural preserve in Brooklyn Center. There are picnic areas, a playground, and outdoor fitness equipment, which is ideal if you're looking for a great place to get some extra exercise during your ride.
