Anne Springs Greenway has fast, flowy and easy system of trails.

This quaint little park along the greenway features an observation platform over the marshes and the sculpture STEM by John Grade. STEM was inspired by the movement of water through plant stems, and encourages the viewer to look at familiar nature from a different perspective. There is ample street parking by the greenway.

Harvey Clay Nesbit Park spans 40 acres in the northwest corner of town. This park features baseball and softball fields, access to the Twelve Mile Creek Trail, and picnic tables. It sits next to Kensington Elementary School and the Millbridge neighborhood.

This trail meanders through wooded floodplains and passes behind several subdivisions. It offers elevated views of the powerful 12-mile creek during heavy rains.

Enjoy a view of the prairie and its abundant vegetation. You will also find a great gravel road leading to and from this spot.

The bridge gently sways with each step, creating a fun and bouncy experience. It's a perfect spot to capture playful photos or simply enjoy the feeling of being suspended over the creek below.

The Greenway's ponds are known for their natural beauty. They provide a habitat for wildlife and a peaceful spot for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. The ponds are stocked with Tilapia, a special type of fish, to help control algae growth and provide a food source for other fish. In spring, some of the Greenway's ponds erupt in a stunning display of white rocky shoal spider lilies.

The spillway isn't just a concrete dam; depending on rainfall, it transforms into a beautiful waterfall cascading down from Lake Haigler. The water gushes over the rocks, creating a visual spectacle and a refreshing sound, especially after heavy rains.
