A fully paved path surrounds this pretty lake in Arnold City Park. It's a great location for a run, you can do a few laps around the lake or follow Hollywood Beach Road down the Meramec River and loop back around.

Hollywood Beach Road runs alongside Meramec River, providing a scenic waterside run through Arnold City Park. The waterway is one of the longest free-flowing rivers in the US. This is one of the final places it flows through before emptying into the Missouri River just a few miles downstream.

This is a multi-use trail that follows the Mississippi River through Clff Cave Park. It's a flat, paved path that's perfect for running, and you get some wonderful views up and down the waterway that distract you from the hard work.

A 525 acre park with two primary mtb trails. The Spring Valley Trail is a flowy beginner level trail that rolls in and around the trees. The River Bluff Trail is a more technical loop that flows through rock gardens and a ledge drop. Both take you through heavily wooded areas with ponds, sinkholes, and a variety of wildlife.

Although it's shorter than most of the other greenways in St. Louis, this paved trail and the accompanying natural space are still lovely. This is a good place for birding in addition to hiking, biking and running, so don't be surprised if you see people toting spotting scopes or binoculars with them.

Jefferson Barracks is a popular location for southern St Louis residents. It's a beautiful open green space featuring a fully paved footpath that circles the entire park.

This is a lovely park along Grant's Trail with the Gravois Creek flowing right through it. You can jump off the pathway and into the park and catch your breath on the grassy patch next to the water.
