Old village church of Zuidlaren. The oldest part of St. Mary's Church, the nave, was built in the 13th century. The tower was built around 1300 and heightened in the 15th century. The current tower is 32.4 meters high. This was determined during the restoration in 1950/51 by the then owner, the municipality of Zuidlaren. There's a bench just around the bend. I used it for a snack break and some sunbathing.

A perfect cycling route through the Drentsche Nature Park. The path isn't very wide, and the many curves make it more enjoyable to cycle than to set a fast pace.
